Good news!: This is good to hear. In addition to a positive chlamydia test, did you have pelvic or low abdominal pain? Did your doctors suspect the chlamydia had caused pelvic inflammatory disease? The possibility of PID might be why pelvic ultrasound was done. Anyway, this sounds like a good outcome, with little risk for future problems from blocked tubes, like infertility or tubal pregnancy.

Chlamydia: Glad to hear that you had no obstruction of the Fallopian tubes. The damage usually occurs when the infection has gone untreated for some time. If you were treated for acute infection this is far less likely to occur. Would strongly recommend that if you have not, be thoroughly tested for all other STDs. When you get one it is not uncommon to get more than one. Good luck and best wishes.
