Maybe not "sciatica": "Sciatica" is caused by inflammation, irritation or pressure of the sciatic nerve anywhere from its exits from the spinal cord to where it splits into 2 branches below the buttocks. If you have a negative MRI and minimal relief with P.T. perhaps it's not Sciatica. Meralgia peresthetica, for example, can cause similar symptoms. Discuss other possible causes of your symptoms with your doctor.

May not be sciatica: sorry to hear that, but i think there's more to the diagnosis than a sciatica. if it starts from your groin, then have either your primary or a urologist take a further exam. There could be a number of causes. good luck.
