Tinnitus, aprin, strok: Tinnitus is ringing in the ears and is an uncommomon side affect of Aspirin. Aspirin is important as a blood thinner and a medication used to prevent a recurrant CVA. For patients who can not take Aspirin other medication such as Plavix (clopidogrel) is an alternate. But dont stop aspirin without talking to the neurologist.
