A member asked:

I was told that i may have a 6.5 mm kidney stone in a kidney pole . what is that? also dr. recommended i see a urologist . i'm not in pain , why go?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Future: A 6mm stone is unlikely to pass on own, so many people opt for lithotripsy to break it up before you have a problem. Also a good idea to establish a relationship with a urologist if problems arise in the future
