Not really: "Kidney disease" usually means actual long-term damage to the filters or tubules. Kidney stones can cause tubular damage if the kidneys get infected as a result. Your best move is to drink plenty of water, enough so your urine is never dark but always near-clear. Specific stone compositions have specific regimens that may help.
