Brown Discharge: this is old blood being expelled from your uterus. As long as it is not foul smelling, you are not having pain or a fever it is not worrisome. If these are occurring see your OB or FP

Old Blood: Brown discharge is very often caused by old blood either from the uterus, cervix, or upper vagina and should not be too concerning, especially since you are 2 months postpartum. It could be old blood from the pregnancy as well as older blood just from the last month or two of menstrual cycles. The brown discharge should not last very long and I wouldn't be too concerned at this point.
