Pink discharge: If your period started the first week of October, it is now about time for ovulation to occur, which can cause slight bleeding a couple days after ovulation. This is very common in one's mid 30's and beyond. Your ovaries are stimulated more. Heavier estrogen makes the lining of the womb thicker,so the dip in estrogen with ovulation causes light bleeding.

Many thoughts: It could be a vaginitis, could be implantation bleed. Wait 10 days and test and if negative test again in a week. If both are negative you should see your doctor, If no sex than its likely a vaginitis, Still see your doctor.
