Is it normal for second postpartum period to start out as brown discharge for few days than heavier red blood period than my usual period? no cramps just heavy period?

This is not unusual, especially as you become more active a few days postpartum. If the bleeding gets heavier, you should take it easy for a couple of days. If it persists or at any point if you feel dizzy, extremely weak, etc, then call your OB.
