Beta blocker: Graves disease is often treated with beta blockers to decrease the blood pressure and heart rate. Increased BP is not a usual side effect of methimazole. Since her BP isn't extremely high and her heart rate is lower than 100, it would be best to use the lowest dose possible.

Not necessarily : She is being treated for hyperactive thyroid -- so she will continue to have some metabolic changes -- and it is paramount that she had a regular follow up with her doctors. She will stabilize in the next 6 mo to a year.

Options: Touch base with your endocrinologist. The current heart rate is reasonable, as "normal" is between 60 and 100 beats per minute. The blood pressure is on the higher side- so she may benefit from additional beta blocker control (especially if shaky), or an adjustment in the tapazole (methimazole). A decrease in dosage would not be indicated given your parameters.
