Effexor (venlafaxine): Withdrawal symptoms may include diarrhea, but that does not necessarily mean that this is what is causing your loose stools. If it persists you may need to be examined futher. Good luck.

Not super common: Loose stools are not incredibly common when coming off Effexor (venlafaxine) but at the same time you did have the constipation on it so I suppose it's possible. However,I would not expect this to last more than 6-8 weeks and am concerned there could be another cause especially given your condition.I would suggest speaking with your doctors regarding this with an abdominal exam and lab tests if necessary.

Effexor (venlafaxine): Certainly you can have some long term withdrawal effects from Effexor (venlafaxine) as well as Cymbalta even when you wean them slowly as you did. I would not be surprised that the loose stools continue to be from not being on the Effexor (venlafaxine). You may want to add some bulk to your diet with whole grains along with vegetables, even a fiber supplement. Good luck to you.
