Effexor (venlafaxine) is not ap- : proved for treatment of Bipolar Depression. Anti- depressants can increase risk of a mixed/ manic episode if used without a mood-stabilizer. Ask your doctor about 37.5 mg. decrements in dose of Effexor (venlafaxine) & the other issues.
