Go see your doctor!: Acyclovir has been known to cause low platelets, which can result in the petechiae you describe. However, it's very rare. I'm more concerned about you being pregnant. Women who are pregnant are at risk for developing something called ITP (idopathic thrombocytopenic purpura), an autoimmune destruction of platelets. Petechiae = very low platelets, which needs immediate attention. Please go in!
