Maybe: It is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (nsaid). And can be used to treat pain. It may work well for dental pain but be aware of potential side effects.

Ibuprofen better: Feldene (piroxicam) is a rx drug that is typically used for the following: osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis. Dentists typically recommend taking an otc med such as Ibuprofen (advil) or Naproxen sodium (aleve). Nsaids are recommended for both their analgesic & anti-inflammatory properties. Obviously, if you are allergic or have sensitivity to this family of drugs, consult w/ doctor.
