Depression?: Lack of energy can have many causes, including poor diet, lack of sleep, pregnancy, thyroid disorder, infection, chronic illness and depression.if your doctor has done a physical exam and blood tests are normal, you might consider your emotional state of health as the source of the symptoms,especially since you experienced similar symptoms years ago. Suggest talking to your doctor again.

Many causes...: Fatigue and sleep difficulties have SO many causes (not only physical but also emotional). My advice, stop the artificial attempts to increase energy (they are likely working against you). Drink 1 1/2 liters of water per day. Eat balanced clean diet. Exercise daily. Meditate. See your doctor if your symptoms are not improving to rule out medical causes.
