Unlikely: A small study reported in the 3/2011 issue of Clin Exp Dermatology that there was no increase in insulin resistance with isotretinoin when patients took the medication for three months. Weight gain is also less likely with medication. You are more likely to suffer with skin irritation and possible skin upset.
