Proteinuria: Proteinuria is a common laboratory finding in children. It can be identified as either a transient or a persistent finding & can represent a benign condition or a serious disease.1st, repeat studies and further analysis of the proteinuria are indicated & these are best directed by your Pediatrician who may also refer you to Nephrology if initial lab ratios & history suggest need for ultrasound etc.

Consultation: with a pediatric urologist or nephrologist would be prudent.
