Sore genitals, tingling sensation in genitals and abdomen, gas, general unwell feeling but not too bad just kinda uncomfortable. any idea what it is?

Hard to diagnosis: The symptoms you are giving are rather vague but sound like there is a possibility of Herpes. Typically presents with generalized ill feeling the first time - often with fever. Tingling sensation is replaced with vesicles and then ulcers over the course of less than a week. You did not say how long you were having symptoms. Hopefully this is not your diagnosis but worth considering.
