I'm def not pregnant but for last 3/4 days i've had sensation of a baby kicking on the mid to left side of abdomen by rib cage. any ideas? not gas.

LUQ: This could be spasm of the left upper quadrant. Possibly a sign of IBS (irritable bowel syndrome). I would recommend an abdominal series xrays. If negative would recommend antj-spasmodic medications and stop caffeine products

Fasciculations: Sounds like an irritated muscle or muscles are twitching in that area. It does feel very similar to a baby kicking. Typically they last a few days and then go away. If they keep up or become more generalized, see your doctor.
