I went to dr and have upper respiratory infection and all he gave me was cough meds. i have a pack of tamiflu (oseltamivir)..will that help?

Doubtful: Tamiflu (oseltamivir) is normally prescribed for Influenza/Flu. If cough medicine was prescribed the doctor is telling you that antibiotics will not be helpful for the virus you may have. If worsening symptoms get rechecked.Good luck

Would presume no.: I’d assume the doctor who examined you thought that this was not the flu. As such, Oseltamivir would likely provide you no benefit.
