Ibuprofen: The answer is yes, but the question is why are you taking this dose. Any dose of this type of medicine can cause kidney, GI or heart issues, but is usually given for a specific reason. You can help prevent these issues by taking the medicine with food and drinking plenty of water. Also if you have any symptoms from the medicine you should contact your physician right away.

Depends: Once a day dosage of Ibuprofen should be safe but can increase risk of stomach problems, kidney problems. Although these medicines can cause heart problems this has not been shown for low risk patients. Provided you are healthy 28 year old you should be ok. If concerned I would switch to Acetaminophen and see your doctor.
