T1 operable: T1 lesions do not rely on cytology lab results. If original diagnosis is pancreatic Ca and PET/CAT reveals a well defined lesion in the head of the pancreas then resection is indicated. Even if bx report shows no tumor and the lesion is well defined and free of the SMA and SMV then surgery is indicated. A good surgical oncologist has minimal post op complications.

?question: I am not quite sure of what your question is, but it is your body and if it your desire to get a second opinion, than by all means do so. Any good Dr. worth their weight, would not have a problem with that, and I would hope if you went for one somewhere, your Dr. would not mind and would encourage you to be comfortable with your treatment plan. Good luck and God Bless.
