Can tylenol (acetaminophen) cause you to have high triglycerides? my number came back at 259. i am overweight and slowly working on getting my weight down. thanks.

No: Acetaminophen does not cause this. Your TRIG are not very high. But a single values of TRIG does not mean much as levels can vary wildly with diet. The primary target of high cholesterol treatment is the LDL level. TRIG may be treated but usually not unless in the 500- 1000+ range. Consider measuring TRIG under non fasting conditions to see what they might really be.
