Swollen lymph nodes: Yes it is related. The lymph nodes in that area will be swollen in response to trauma or infection of the breast or extremity on that side. Keep the piercing clean and apply antibiotic ointment twice daily. If it is not infected it should go away in a few weeks. Have it checked if it doesn't resolve.
