A member asked:

I have had a sore throat for about 3 weeks now. my throat has two swollen bumps on each side. it may be an oral std.... but i'm not sure...

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Swollen Lymph nodes: The best way to know what is causing the sore throat is to get a throat culture and labs done to check for Mono. If you are worried about STD's exposure due to oral sex make sure you are checked for GC/Chlamydia and HPV of the throat. Have you taken any antibiotics? You need to make sure you don't have lymphoma if this is not resolving
