A member asked:

Diagnosed with uti. two months later, diagnosed again. is this considered recurrent? sign of underlying issue? should i discuss this with my doctor?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Not recurrent.: If it happens again it would be wise to obtain a culture to "prove" that this is indeed a UTI rather than something else. I would hope that your doctor had actually discussed this with you rather than the other way around.
