Adjust timing of med: each of the medications for ADD lasts different times AND vary for individuals. So, there are lots of choices to deal with the coverage you need when your AM dose is done. Short acting amphetamines[adderall] would do well. remember the medications reduce appetite for some folks. very important to keep hydrated and eat properly. Omega 3 EFA 1000mg/day may also help.

Withdrawl: You are experiencing a withdrawal effect as the medication loses its effect. About 1 hour before the loss of effect from the morning dose you can take a small dose of the shorter duration Adderall (dextroamphetamine and racemic amphetamine) tablet which should blunt the withdrawal effect and if you use a small dose, usually does not interfere with sleep. Speak to your prescriber about this.
