Sinusitis : Blood test is not used to diagnose sinusitis. Blood test is used to rule out bacterial or viral infection in the system. Sinusitis is a clinical diagnosis. If you don't want to take medicine until definitive, then get CAT scan of sinus.

No: There is no blood test to confirm sinusitis and whether it is bacterial. If you are being diagnosed with sinusitis a lot and you are concerned about being treated with abx all the time have a discussion with your doctor. It may be time to see allergist or ENT specialist to find out if there is a predisposition for these sinus infections.
