A member asked:

Do circulatory problems associated w/cold hands indicate a heart problem? can hands get cold simply because body is trying to heat up vital organs?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Just cold...: Hands can just get cold, period. Cold hands from a heart problem would be a very advanced heart problem, and other symptoms would be more prominent. Medication can cause coldness of the extremities, in particular the Beta Blockers (atenolol, metoprolol, etc) are known for this side effect. Check in with your doctor.
