Normal: Could not understand what it was last week. If concerned about blood pressure, avoid salt in your diet.

BP: Readings of 125/77 and a pulse of 74 is fine, but a diastolic in the 90s is getting high. See your doctor and it would be recommended to get an ambulatory blood pressure monitor to record your readings throughout the day, then have your doctor evaluate them and treat you as/if needed. Of course, eat well, stay fit and trim, and decrease salt in your diet. Best wishes.

Evaluate factors: It is normal now. The factors to consider are your salt intake (keep under 2500mg of sodium a day), your medications (did you miss any doses?), OTC meds (take any decongestants? they increase BP) and your activity level (30-45 minutes a day of walking helps a lot). Big picture get your weight to a BMI of 25. Keep all these factors in line and still up? See your MD.

Normal range now: Keep a daily record of your BP, on the same time of the day for about 2 weeks before consulting your GP, if needed. BP that is persistently higher than closer to 130 systolic and upper 80's for the diastolic would need treatment.

Normal BP: Not sure why your diastolic (bottom number) blood pressure was higher last week, but your blood pressure and pulse are normal now. Blood pressure can vary with activity, stress and some medications. Suggest monitoring your blood pressure and sharing the results with your doctor.
