low progesterone of 5 & low hcg of 6 at 4 wk. taking prometrium (micronized progesterone) since 2 days by vagina. spotting brown & red blood.is it cos of prometrium (micronized progesterone) or period?

Prob period: It sounds like this is your period. You can recheck the BHCG level to see if it's going up to confirm.

Depends: If you have a live fetus with a heartbeat, your prognosis is better. Continue the Progesterone until your doctor tells you you should stop.
