Miscarriages: Most miscarriages do not occur because of low Progesterone. Abnormal pregnancies destined to miscarry produce low Progesterone. Healthy pregnancies produce high Progesterone. Prometrium (micronized progesterone) is fine to take but it can not prevent miscarriage if at conception the pregnancy did not develop normally
