After ovulation: If you are ovulating, you don't want to take it until afterwards. Prometrium (micronized progesterone) is not a fertility medication in itself, and if you take it before ovulation, it will disrupt the uterine lining and adversely effect implantation. Take it until you start a period. If you don't start, check with your MD before stopping it.
