Couple things: One could be that you are ready to menstruate and the blood makes the lining look thicker on us. The other issue could be that you have complex adenomatous hyperplasia. In that case, Prometrium (micronized progesterone) probably won't help as it would with simple hyperplasia. You may wish to request an endometrial biopsy or consider a synthetic Progesterone such as provera.
