It would be my choic: I would try generic Daypro (oxaprozin) first. Their are many options other than narcottics. They are the tereatment of last resort in chronic pain.

No way to tell: Daypro (oxaprozin) is a non steroidal anti-inflammatory. Vicodin is a narcotic analgesic. They are two totally different medications.
