Yes.: No more effective than other nsaids, but indiviudals can benefit from one drug over another. Generic Oxaprozin is indicated for RA & oa: osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis: the recommended dose of Daypro (oxaprozin) for the relief of the signs and symptoms of osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis is 1200 mg (two 600 mg tablets) once a day. Side effects are similar to other drugs of it's class.

See below: Daypro (oxaprozin) is a type of medicine called a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory and is used for various types of arthritis. There are over 25 of them the thing about these meds is that one person may do very well with one and not well with the other. So it is a bit of trial and error to see what works for each person. Some have more side effects than others. Talk to your doctor about whatis right for you.

Daypro – oxaprozin: is a Nonsteroidal Anti-inflammatory Drug (NSAID) that is used to treat conditions like juvenile arthritis, osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis. It is one of a number of NSAID's that may be effective. Discuss what your best option would be with your physician. Take care.
