Depends on dose: Aspirin and Daypro (oxaprozin) are nsaids (nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs). Aspirin inhibits platelets more. Platelets are needed for blood clotting. Both agents can irritate stomach lining. So taking both at the same time can increase the risk for stomach bleeding, etc. However, it is generally safe to combine baby Aspirin with another NSAID in patients who have heart disease. Wait at least one day.
