Same as before: Any time you get multiple surgeries in the same area, the risk increases for scar tissue and weakening of the muscles, etc. Hernia repairs have a come a long way though, and you will need to discuss with your doctor about different options that may include mesh etc. that may strengthen the area more so than in the past.
