Depending on where: it is on your hand, and size can determine what it could be. Is it on the back or your hand, or palm? Is it tiny or is it large? When do you notice it? Is it by the wrist? Each factor can help determine what it can be. The fact that it's painless is great, and talk with your PCP about it. It can easily be imaged to view what's there if it's large enough. Start there, and don't worry!
