No: Hi. Gitelman's is a genetic disease of a salt transporter in the kidney tubule. VIP, 5-HIAA, and chromogranin A are all products of neuroendocrine cells. There is no relation between Gitelman's and neuroendocrine tissue. If one patient has all that going on, it's happenstance.
