Vibration: more than likely the vibration is nerve pain. Some cases of plantar fasciitis involve the infracalcaneal nerve branch under the heel- it gets entrapped when there is a lot of inflammation. Antiinflammatories help, or ice. The mid calf pain could be posterior tibial tendinitis - the tendon that holds up your arch. This tendon and plantar fasciitis are related. Try an arch support
