I have a canker sore on my tounge and i have white line on both cheeks no pain ?

Canker and White: Canker sores are very common without any proven reason why they occur, BUT they are thought to be directly related to stress. The white lines on the side of your cheek are extremely common from chronic biting of your cheek which is similar to calluses. No reason to have concern. The canker sore will run its course and go away.

No worries: The cause of canker sores is unknown but may be precipitated by stress, acidic food, a sharp tooth or dental appliance. They usually resolve within a few days without treatment. The white line on both cheeks is probably what is called linea alba buccalis which is a thickening of the cheek mucosa along the chewing surfaces of the teeth. It typically requires no treatment.

Canker sores: are not pleasant and can be very painful. Canker sore is the most common oral lesions. Individual ulcers typically last 1-2 weeks. The condition is idiopathic (the cause is not known) and recurrent aphthous ulcers are usually self-limiting. Your dentist may prescribe an antimicrobial mouth rinse corticosteroid ointment to control the pain and irritation.

Be sure of diagnosis: Get examined please. Canker sores are common aphthous ulcers of mouth that occur situationally, often in response to stressors, are bacterial or viral, & can be treated topically with many otc products that reduce local discomfort & potentially speed healing. However, oral/dental problems & a number of systemic diseases cause canker sore-like lesions--crohn's, behcet's, std (sexually transmitted).

See dentist: I agree with the other opinions on your canker sores the cause for which remains obscure even though the triggers are often known. The white lines along your cheeks suggest a problem with your bite and you should ask your dentist to adjust your malocclusion when you see him the next time.

Then run their course and usually gone without treatment in 10-14 days. Those white lines are generally also benign and related to where your upper and lower teeth meet, known as linea alba.
