A1c and UA:CR: Hi. Your A1c shows relatively poor diabetes control (although it could be A LOT worse!). Your urinary albumin:creatinine ratio (UA:CR) is normal, suggesting you have no diabetic kidney damage.I can't tell you how to improve your diabetes control, because I don't know how you're being treated. Healthy diet, regular exercise, and don't smoke for sure. Otherwise, see an endocrinologist.
