A member asked:

Dull, pulling pain in low back when hunching or bending forward. if pain were constant, i would classify pain as a 7. is it a strain? what can i do?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Probably: Most likley lumbar strain. Treat with time, core muscle strengthening exercises, massage, NSAIDs (ibuprofen, naproxen, etc.). See your doctor if you have fever, loss of bowel or bladder control, pain radiating down your leg, numbness or weakness in your leg, or if you have a history of cancer or IV drug abuse.
