Pain/Blood Pressure: The vast majority of pain medications do not raise your blood pressure. Many other factors do contribute to elevated blood pressure, including pain, stress, anxiety, and under-treated hypertension itself. If your pain is uncontrolled, consult your doctor for additional therapies to relieve the pain. If your blood pressure is chronically elevated, see your doctor for long term medical management.
