Would not recommend: early termination of breastfeeding for that reason. Remember that breast feeding can help to burn extra calories. One can still work on weight loss while breast feeding - just recommend it be done in moderation (not aggressively) Take care.

The opposite: Women who breast feed their babies lose weight faster than those who don't. You can safely adopt an exercise program while nursing, and your diet should be clean and healthy already. It is not advisable to use weight loss supplements or severely restricting diets while breast feeding.
