Yes.: If your OB gave it you can be sure the benefits of the drug outweigh the risks of it's use. Organogenesis is complete at this point so birth defects are not much of a concern. Having an infection, on the other hand, is a big concern and puts you at risk for preterm labor. Azithromycin is Pregancy Category B according to the FDA which means there is some evidence use during pregnancy isn't harmful.
