Rectal bleeding: Most likely, a hard or large sudden stool scraped along a hemorrhoid and caused the bleeding. Internal hemorrhoids are typically not painful. Since this is the first time this has happened and you don't have a known history of hemorrhoids, you should see a doctor for an exam and diagnosis. There are other less common causes of rectal bleeding that must be ruled out first.
