Anything is possible. If blood returns see your doctor. Blood could be from, hemorrhoids, anal fissures, IBD, ulcers and colorectal cancer.

It is impossible to tell what Caused the blood that you saw from what you wrote. Having said that, it is important anytime you see blood from your rectum to notify your doctor. You may need further testing. If you have not had a screening colonoscopy, you are due for that also, since colon cancer screening should start at age 45. You should let your doctor know right away. Don’t delay. Good luck.
