I had a followup tv ultrasound for lack of period for 5mths, now i have parovarian cyst on my right ovary. could that be related to my pcos? hcg neg

Possible: that could possibly be related to PCOS- whether directly or indirectly

Not likely: Polycystic ovarian syndrome is a bit of a misnomer, one needn't have a 'cyst' to have the diagnosis. Having said that, a lot of women have paraovarian cysts without PCOS, as well. PCOS is more of an endocrine disorder, than a problem with cysts. Women with PCOS often dont' have a period, and can have excess testosterone, excess estrogen and increased risk for diabetes.
