Several possbilities: Leg cramps can be caused by hormone problems, neuropathy, arterial problems, mineral deficiencies, structural problems like lumbar or pelvic dysfunctions & much more. Tests for many of these are simple physical, blood or ultrasound exams.Others are more complicated. A good osteopathic family practice dr. could be helpful as he/she should understand all of the above. Neurologist may also be helpful
